Bloc Party

V2 free downloads

Label joins we7.com
20 June 07 - we7.com is the first legal free download service to launch in Europe and V2 are the first label to commit their artists to it.

The V2 catalogue which includes artists like Bloc Party, Stereophonics and Cold War Kids will be made freely available through the new service.

That's if you dont mind the ads... We7.com is ad-supported, which  means a short advert will be attached to the start of each track, the ads chosen will apparently suit the users profile.

After a month, users will be able to replace the track with an ad-free version, whilst the service operates like other downloads stores if you want ad-free music, you are welcome to purchase it.

V2 has committed its entire back catalogue, including new releases from Little Man Tate and The Rakes as well as artists signed to sister label Cooperative Music.
