Babyshambles singer on bail until June

07 May 07 - Pete Doherty has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug.

The Babyshambles singer was stopped in a car by police in High Street Kensington, west London, on Saturday at about 10pm.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said he was taken to a police station and remanded on bail until June.

The singer has been in court on various drugs offences in recent months. He was ordered to undergo a treatment programme after admitting possession charges last year.

Doherty was recently praised by a judge for "more than cooperating" with his court order to take part in rehab treatement.

How about we just have news items when this flabby dog faced loser ISN'T arrested? Does he make music anymore or just walk around safe in the knowledge that he used to be a moderatley talented but hideously overhyped songwriter... no I ake that back he's just rubbish and he looks like he's made of dough...

I think they should leave the poor guy alone, he is a great musician caught in a mess and the only way we can help him is if the public just stop accusing him of every little thing, Pete Doherty is innocent!

I'd have thought that if he was such a big QPR supporter he'd have kept a low profile on the Saturday night so that he'd be able to see the QPR game on the Sunday?Perhaps that's all fake as well.
