Lollapalooza heading for UK?

Festival to leave US for first time?
02 Aug 06 - Lollapalooza could be getting a new home here in the UK.

The influential travelling American festival hits Chicago this weekend with the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Raconteurs and Kanye West, but has never been held outside of the US.

However, talking in this week's NME, organiser and founder Perry Farrell says  they're looking to launch a British leg next year.

Farrell even reveals a wishlist of who he wants to play. He told NME: "Muse are at the top of the list. I also love Kasabian...I'd love to get Arctic Monkeys. They're fantastic!"

He also would like David Bowie and Paul McCartney to top the bill.
