Kate's comeback
23 Dec '04 - Kate Bush will make her comeback next year, over a decade after her last album was released.
In a message on her official website, she says the new album will be out sometime in 2005, but she didn't specify a date.
She's been working on new material for the past few years and says " its features some beautiful orchestral movements" from the the late composer and arranger Michael Kamen.
Bassist Mick Karn, drummer Stuart Elliot and percussionist Peter Erskine also feature.
Kate Bush scored her first number one as a 20 year old in 1978 with her debut single, Wuthering Heights.
Discovered by Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour, she went on to receive widespread critical acclaim for her performances and original songwriting style.
Her last studio album, The Red Shoes, was released in 1993.
