Voting is conducted in line with the BBC Code of Conduct for Competitions, Voting and Awards.
1. Voting is available online or by sms text at the times listed on the network’s website. The email addresses and numbers to be used are also promoted on the programme.
2. Votes received outside the specified times will not be counted, but may still be charged. Voting times may change.
3. Only one online or text vote is permitted per person.
4. The BBC reserves the right to cancel or suspend voting at any time.
5. Each phone vote or text costs 15p from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks may be higher. Voters must obtain permission from the bill payer before voting.
6. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify votes if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting.
7. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
