The best of the fests from the comfort of your own home! 6 Music brought you a virtual festival over the weekend of 27-29 Jan with some of the best performances from the BBC archive.

There were 3 stages featured in the 6 Music shows and best of all YOU got to decide who closed the weekend. Radiohead were the winners and the lucky winner got 2 VIP passes to Summer Sundae Weekender 2006.

The virtual festival started with Gideon Coe on Friday and ended with Andrew Collins' show on Sunday afternoon.  The three virtual stages included:

* The 6 MUSIC STAGE - live concerts recorded by 6 Music - including Arcade Fire, Magic Numbers, PJ Harvey and the Killers.

* The ACOUSTIC STAGE - unplugged sessions recorded in 6 Music studios - including Martha Wainwright, Graham Coxon, and Devendra Banhart.

* The I WAS THERE STAGE - legendary live concerts from the BBC archive and other sources. including concerts that have gone down in music history as legendary. Radiohead's headlining show at Glastonbury 1997, U2's breakthrough set at Red Rocks in Colorado , Richey Edward's last performance with the Manic Street Preachers at London 's Astoria in 1994 are just some of the concerts that featured.
