By entering this competition, you agree to these rules.
To enter this competition, you must be a UK resident and at least 18 years old. You may enter as many times as you wish.
You may only enter by text. Texts cost £1 (plus your standard text charge). Calls cost £1 from BT landlines (calls from mobiles and other networks may cost more).
At least 70p from every text goes directly to Comic Relief. The remainder of the charges cover tax and operator and handling charges.
If you are a pre-pay customer, the charges will be deducted from your available credit time. If you are a pay monthly customer, the charges will appear on your monthly statement. If you are not the bill payer for the phone, you must obtain the bill payer’s permission before entering.
The closing date for entries is 4pm on March 16th 2007.
Two winners will be drawn at random from all correct entries. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners will be announced on March 16th 2007 and contacted by telephone. If we cannot contact a winner by 5pm, we will award the prize to the next correct entry drawn at random.
We will only use your personal details to administer this competition, but may use the winner’s name and photographs for promotional and publicity purposes.
The prize is for each winner to perform over the phone in the final episode of the sitcom 'Drop The Dead Junkie' and a digital Red Nose radio.
The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The BBC may substitute an alternative prize of similar value.
The BBC may disqualify you from winning the prize if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that you are in breach of these rules or your participation in the competition is fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.
This competition is not open to employees or contractors of Comic Relief, BBC (or anyone else involved in organising the competition) or their direct family members.
The BBC may cancel the competition for reasons outside of its reasonable control. Comic Relief may amend these rules without notice, by posting changes to them on this website.
The BBC does not accept any responsibility for any network congestion, technical failure or other problem in any telephone line, network, system, provider or otherwise which results in any phonecall or text not being properly recorded or received.
To the extent permitted by law, The BBC excludes all warranties (whether express or implied), representations and its liability regarding this competition or the prize (other than for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence).
These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
