10 Years Of BBC Radio 6 Music

Throughout the month of March 2012, BBC Radio 6 Music celebrates 10 years of broadcasting. In true 6 Music style, we threw a couple of parties and live performances for your viewing and listening pleasure.

Friday 16 March 2012 - Live at the Southbank

6 Music Celebrates, 10 Years with Public Image Ltd., Laura Marling and many more

On the evening of Friday 16 March, we got a bunch of our musical pals together for a very special night of live music at London's Southbank Centre. With acts playing live in the Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Purcell Room, plus our very own DJs in the Front Room, it was all about the kind of live performances you've come to know and love from 6 Music over the last decade.

You can watch highlights now by pressing your Red Button on any BBC channel on your digital TV.

You can also watch everything online in our special video collection.

Performing at the Southbank Centre were:
- Public Image Ltd, performing their first live show of the year.
- twice Mercury-nominated Laura Marling
- Lianne La Havas, recently named on the BBC Sound of 2012 list.
- Super Furry Animals front man Gruff Rhys, showcasing his own peculiar brand of skewed pop
- Blur guitarist Graham Coxon played tracks from his new album, A&E.
