Victoria speaks to a soldier who is officially homeless after he was badly injured during a tour of duty in Iraq in 2007.

Matt MacColl says he feels betrayed by his own country. Many of you got in touch with your thoughts.

I did ten years in the army and when I came out I was homeless with two kids. I got no help from the army. 3 6 years ago. Nothing changes. Joe. Ex para. Andover

If the rest of our soldiers are like this young man then we who are too old to serve are in safe hands. My best regards and wishes to him. Roger

Hi, first i would like to thank the soldier for his service, this is typical of this government who look after everybody else and leave our own to fend for themselfs, its a chew you up and spit you out attitude...from Darren in Leicester..

Since then the Justice Secretary has apologised for perhaps giving the wrong impression. He now says he's always believed that all rape is extremely serious.
