Pacifists have long taken a stand against violence as any kind of solution to conflict.
They're viewed as moral and honourable by some; cowards and do-gooders by others.

But is refusing to fight always the best solution? Would the world be a better place without armies and weapons?
Or is it just naïve to think that international disputes can be solved without conflict?
