I'm happy with my body as it is...
I don't want and I’m in no need to lose some weight…
Silly?! No!! What?! For doing bodybuilding?!
Yes the media are all to blame for everything!
I don’t know why people think there's a quick-fix to weight loss but I know that they want to achieve it as fast as they can possibly can which is not very good for you health at all…

I've had issues with my weight for so long. I look at pictures of me when I was around 9 and wish I was like that. I had a great figure than but now I don't think I do...in my eyes I don't. I'm about to be 16 and I'm a size 12. I just hate it. I've suffered with chronic invalidation for a long period of time which has contributed to how I see myself. I'm in a battle with self harm and have been having increasing eating problems. I have urges to make myself sick and I also starve myself sometimes. i have been to my GP but it has all been put down to stress.

I am 16 now bt when i was 14 i was bullied at school because im small which always makes you look bigger than what you really are because it is not spread allover you.I started to miss my meals and make excusses not to come down for my meals, pretending i was asleep when my mum came up to ask.It got that bad at school the teachers became aware on how much weight i had lost and phoned my parents and it was all to do with a group of girls. All the advice i can give to anyone who feels they need to loose weight because of others is dont because not only do you hurt yourself but your friends and family to because they worry.

I’m 90 Kg spread over 1.85m of height.
Some people call me fat; I replay “absolutely not, ...I’m just not a celebrity!!!!".

I was told that i was over weight by a clinic doctor when i was 16 and like many girls, skipping at least two meals a day. Leading on from that comment i then became seriously bulimic and am only just eating normally now at age 22. Looking back, that doctor was seriously unproffessional and irresponsible, i should not have taken what they said as fact and should have listened to my better judgement.

I've been on all kinds of diets ever since I was first called "Fat" at the age of 6 (incidentally, I wasn't fat at all). I don't think it is always the Media who are to blame and perhaps there should be more focus on School bullying, too many young people leave School feeling self concious because of the small minded comments of others. I do, however, feel that celebrities are responsible for the current trend in young people going on extreme diets, all to often they portray the image that only skinny is beautiful.
