Should McDonald's teach?
McDonalds food
They've done burgers, salads and nuggets but now McDonald's are moving into education.
The burger chain's been given the go-ahead to give out academic qualifications equal to GCSEs and A-Levels. 

Staff will be trained in everything from hygiene, customer service and marketing as part of the course.

Airline FlyBe and Network Rail will also be doing their own courses.
 
It's all part of measures being announced by the PM who also wants all the unemployed in Britain to have a 'skills check' to help them find work or training.
Is it a good idea? Will vocational training get more people to stay in education? Is on-the-job training better than academic qualifications?
