had these since i was about 14. now 30 and very fit and healthy. uncomfortable with my top off even in front of my wife. She laughs and says she loves my moobs by i hate her even mentioning them. Agree with Kevin bain of my life. Can hide them with my t shirt on cause my biceps hide them. I work my chest alot and they dont shift.

Its not always a case of being fat ! I have had these for years, even when i was a fit young lad playing sport. They have been the bain of my life, completely ruining any confidence when a doctor just laughed at me ,when i asked if there was anything to be done.

i personally have man boobs and i love them. imy girlfriend loves them. everybody shoudl feel great if they have man boobs they lighten up my life.

Man Boobs? Display them with pride. I've got them plus I'm thinning on top. Both conditions are caused by my body converting excess testosterone into female hormones. So who's the daddy now. I'm glad I am who I am and don't feel inclined to help another plastic surgeon pay for an Aston Martin.

Health good,sport.

Ain't nothing wrong with it. Our society is so obsessed with this unrealistic view of how our bodies should look like. Screw that babylonian mindset. If your big, show off your tits, be proud. Jah jah doesnt make garbage!

everyone has their own hang ups but really u need to be happy with yourself look for the positive, there are worst things that could happen.

I'm disagreeing with the surgery idea... I used to have moobs, started going to the gym, worked out, ate healthily, and now they're pecks... remarkably simple logic really!

I suffer from a mild form of this issue. It came about because I was quite overweight in my teenage years. Even though I am at my ideal weight right now of about 65kg, I am left with the scars from my past. So Ryan in Bedford, its not quite as simple as losing weight mate.

moobs? what is the world coming to???

I'm 22 and I've had moobs since i was 17 and no matter how much weight i lost, they still remained. They have ruined my life by forcing me to be so conscious of them 24-7 every time i step out of the house. My confidence and social skills have suffered because of this. I finally decided to see my GP about it recently who refered me to Plastics for an opinion. i just hope I am eligible for surgery because this will change my life.

I totally agree with jess. my boyfriend claims he has moobs and because of it hesitates to take his shirt off. The thing is, he's in excellent shape, goes to gym everyday and every other part of his body is in great shape. After going to the doctor's, it seems he has a condition in which the situation is, no matter how much he works out, he will always have moobs. surgery is the only option for him and he has decided to take it. it is not wrong for him to have the surgery, because it will finally give him peace of mind forever and will make him a more confident person. however if you are just overweight, surgery shouldn't even be an option. your lucky because changing yourself is in your own hands!

If you're fat, go on a diet.

Well i am not a boy but i suffer form obesity myself and i know that it is not easy, as i am at my college and although people make fun of me i continue to ignore it by purisng my performing arts lessons and shows, i try to be very outgoing and i am young aspiring chef and enjoy putting my energy into food as i find distracting myslef helps, so i believe being yourself also helps.

I was told by my doctor i have Gynaecomastia and was very unhappy with my apperance. I had low self asteem and had no confidence, i then lost 8stone over 2 years and no longer feel like i have to hide my chest and am full of confidence. i dont understand people who see plastic surgery as an easy option it can be done without it. its is just peoples ignorance and lack of drive in life that opt for these options. however i can see why younge men feel under presure with images of famous people and idols in pappers and magazines.

suprised to hear that its related to cannabis use, how come this has never been made public before! it seems that every time a illness is suddenly increasing, cannabis is one of the causes of it, strange! anyway i guess "moobs" is something else i have to look forward to in my old age. peace out
Jack
They'd be better off going to the gym. You gotta work those pecs a bit, and shed the body fat. If that doesn't help you can go under the knife.. But let's be honest here. Most of the guys with moobs don't take care of their bodies in the first place - they often binge drink, eat junk food and do drugs. No wonder most of them look so bad with their shirts off.

if your fat go on a diet.

I don't think i know anyone with moobs, but maybe they're just hiding it well! I definately do not think men are wrong to have the operation! Why shouldn't they? Its exactly the same as women having a boob job or other cosmetic sugery to make themselves feel better, just because it's a man, why is it any different? I would definately have cosmetic surgery, and i don't think the page is long enough for me to list everything i would have! But i see nothing wrong in it, surely its better to change what you are unhappy with rather than moaning about it and feelin ugly for the rest of your life.
