1XTRA NEWS: THE REAL TALK OF THE STREETS
Are you born lucky?
Lottery balls
Do we make our own luck?
A web survey wants to find out if the month you were born can explain your personality and success.
And it’s nothing to do with astrology. Professor Wiseman believes people create their own good luck by:

* Listening to their intuition
* Creating and noticing opportunities
* Expecting good things to happen
* Persisting in turning bad luck into good

Summer babies may be healthier and autumn babies may be ahead of the class because of their age. The research also wants to suss if being born on the 13th really is bad news.
So is it all in the attitude? Could we all get lucky if we wake up to the chances we get? How lucky are you? Tell us your stories.

Sarah
I'm not sure if it's true or not. Most people have lucky n unlucky phases in their life. I don't see why being born in the summer or whattever should make a difference to how lucky we are. I think it's not always just to do with how determined u are or how much you want something - think how many people buy lottery tickets and don't win? But even though I've said that I'm gonna keep an open mind n see if this research comes to anything.

I honestly believe in a certain element of luck but also optimism. Having experienced several crisis' in life where by I have very nearly died through ill health people say to me how is I still smile.

Because life is about siezing the moment and spotting opportunities, I am now involved with an amazing business and an amzing person, it's hard work and often frustrating but detrermination, optimism and most defientley luck are vital ingredients to success. But timing is everything!

I believe there are groups of people who have common lifestyles based on their date of birth.

Simple. You make your luck by taking what life throws at you & making it work for you. Anyway it's like star signs, are we gonna believe that when one weird looking person e.g mystic meg says were gonna have a bad day that we're all gonna have a bad day?

It's not that realistic really. Though whatever gets people through life I guess. So good luck 2 everyone & don't stop til you get what you want.

If you don't have a go, you will never know

Dana Gail Haynes, astrologer
You may say that it has nothing to do with astrology, thinking that astrology is just one of those crazy social fads, however being involved in the science of astrology for 40 years allows me the right to tell you that astrology can get to the facts you are looking for quickly, with accuracy, and in just minutes. Yes the day you are born, the month you are born and the year tells what your "luck" level is, if any. And yes, your attitude has a lot to do with it... which astrology can also see.

Jimmy
Born lucky? Yes; on St. Patty's day, however, when it comes to luck - NO Waay.. Lots of hard work, lots of barriers and stumbling blocks. The biggest thing I would say is ATTITUDE - because no matter who you are and no matter how perfect you want everything to be - you will have to deal with these barriers. It is how you deal with these barriers that make us lucky - and that is all about attitude.
