After 3 albums its very necessary he comes back to the underground. Back to Basics i call it. He will build his techniques, flows, concepts and regain the respect as an underground mc. I guess i miss hearing him riding RAW instrumentals back to back with different Dj's and MC's. I don't think he'll have any problem with being "Grimey enough"And in a year or two a label will happily sign him again.

Whatever Kano does he's gonna do it great !!! I don't think he ever left grime - it's not bout clashing and killing and all that nonsence no more - grimes bout speaking the truth, keeping it raw and real and even on London Town album he was. Lyrics were way deeper than Home Sweet Home and he's grown up now and good for him to show that. I think he still could've done grime on his label but we're not to know why exactly he chose to leave. I just know that he's the best example out there, desearves a whole lotta respect and on the rise right now !!!

I'm sure the album departure is more to do with poor record sales and a huge budget on marketting, from his label's side of things. Whatever the reason, it's good that he'll be gettin things grimier again.

I think kano is a brave man, isn't leaving his label taking a few steps back rather than forward? I think its a shame he couldn't do his own thing and keep his own sound with 679 recordings rather than loose his sound and adapt it to fit in with the commercial market. after all, maybe if he'd of stuck to doing what he knows and admittedly does best - grime, he would have had a higher chart entry than no18, although i not knocking him. You can deffinatly tell the difference from his first mixtape to the other, newer one. i don't even rate his second one. after all, he got his sound heard by us, way back when he was himself, doing HIS thing. also, i think kano leaving his record label shows to us all that he's not in it for the money, which is exactly how it should be. i think kanos going to be back with avengence, and best of luck to him. But does grime need to emerge through to the overground? Hmmm.

Kano was grime in his first album his second album not as grimey but still proves kanos on top form i think kano's latest release are excellent and i think hes going from better to better the collab he did with craig david was a different sound for kano which i believe he pulled off just because hes left his record label doesnt mean this is the last we hear from kano i think its a way for him to get his ear back to the streets and come out with another big album!!!!!!!!!!!!MAKE LOVE NOT WAR!!!!!!!!PEACE

Personally, I thnk tht Kano's big in whatever he does, and it just proves to all the talented grime hopefuls that you can actually gain respect from peepz in the industry without havin 2 b 2 commercial.... I think he's a good artist. His change in music style just illustrates how good of an artist he is. Plus I quite liked the track Nite Nite featuring Leo The Lion - I thought that track was big. PS What happened to the streets - the remixes with Kano were live.

Kano simlpy took it to a commercial market. Some might say he's less "road' these days but everybodys gotta eat. He demonstrated spitting deep but on a possi level, which I believe is a good thing and since many have jumped on his bandwagon. Anyways how can anybody brush Kano when every other grime mc has tried to bite his style. Besides what defines grime today anyway? Skepta generally spits possi and no bodys more GRIME than my man.
