The World Cup's well underway. So what's it like for black and Asian footie fans supporting the boys in Germany?
1Xtra follows devoted England supporter Kambi Thandi as he embarks on his first World Cup adventure.

As he sets off from Sheffield to Nuremberg, Kambi meets well-travelled fans with experience of football racism.

And he's confronted with alarming stories in the papers warning of a violent reception for ethnic minorities in Germany. So what will he find when he gets there?
Who are you supporting in the World Cup? If you're English but support a different team, why is that? Do you feel accepted as a non-white England fan? What can the FA do to encourage more minority fans to attend games?

I agree with what Faz says about some of his friends do not support England because of their background as I feel the same. Alot of England fans disgust me..You know the kind, the uneducated overweight, wife-beater type that drink 15 pints a night, enjoy fighting and are usually the people that think that England should be kept white. As a young female, I dread when the World Cup is on purely because of the reception of racism I have received in the past and so as a result I do not support England or consider myself English/British in anyway.

i wud personally feel out of place supporting england as i am of afro/caribean descent. I may have lived here on my life but i know dis is not my roots and background, so wud feel uncomfortable. the ethnic groups shud support there own when it comes to things like dis!! t&t all the way brap brap!!!!

I support the Brazilian Boys. Apart from that, I believe people should accept that racism is an aspect of life but pray that they do not fall a victim of it. From my experirence I believe that ethnic minorities are not still part of the this country.

Where i live, football is very popular and important anyway, so fellow liverpool supporters are generally very friend;y, but when it comes to the world cup, its a different thing, i support england, i was born here n lived here all mi life, so why shudnt i?but iv seen white people giving me dirty looks as iv worn an england shirt.its very discouraging for me and takes away some of the excitement and atmosphere of watching the football. However, other white people are great about me supporting england, they encourage it and are the ones who make me feel like i belong.
