Queens of dancehall
UK Dancehall artist, Stush
Women are seen as a bit slack
Listen to the Queens of dancehall documentary
Stush, UK Dancehall queen
Despite dancehall's explosion there are still only a handful of female artists in the scene.
With superstars aplenty, like Foxy Brown, Mary J Blige and Ms Dynamite, what's holding the queens of dancehall back?

We spoke to the women making power moves in dancehall - Lady Saw, Tanya Stephens, Ce'Cile, Crissy D and the UK's Stush, about their fight for the same recognition as the men.

And for the male perspective we got contributions from Degree, 1Xtra's Seani B and VP Records exec Maurice Hamilton.
Why aren't women making it in dancehall like they have in RnB or hip hop? Are you into the scene? Give us what you think.
