Jesus Christ our saviour never intended a denomination, a class or race thing when He came over 2000 years ago. I believe He saw what the state of the church would be when He was praying to God in John 17. It is obvious that He was emphatic on the unity of the church for He prayed in John 17:11 "that they may be as one". He also asked whether He would find faith when He comes again. The church needs to grow in to the maturity of unity so that there can be a release of that apostolic power that will usher in the end-time revival.

It is good to have a thriving church in the nations capital. It is important to recognise that numbers are not our only goal but the quality and the desire to reach the lost.

I'm glad to read this about a Pastor I admire: Pastor Matthew. In California, George Barna has just concluded perhaps his largest statistical research survey to date and he came to the same conclusion. However, we need to look beyond this. Large numbers are often not indicative of God's presence in a place. Same number of people will visit political gatherings as well, black or white. What we should be concerned with are the products of such gatherings. Character is the issue, not numbers and definitely, not colors. Thanks.

Well we thank God for giving us only one heaven... whether black or white, there's only one destination for us all as sons and daughters in christ Jesus... but let the black churches also try to harmonise their programmes to include the whites' culture also as they normally do to their black ones...

Christianity is not a religion but life through Christ Jesus so irrespective of your colour it must reflect in your daily living and experience. If the love of God is in your heart, you will look beyond colour. So what God is doing in London through KICC is marvellous in our eyes.

I'm a white woman and I think we all need to come together and stop worrying about who's coming to what church. My black friends always come to my church to worship with me and I always come to their church and worship with them. And we both have a good time in the Lord - together. I encourage every white and black person in Londom to try it - if you're mature enough.

I think it's not a black/white thing as far as color, but as far as culture. White churches tend to be more conservative while black churches tend to be more alive as far as congregation participation. Maybe it's just because white people don't prefer that type of music, preaching, etc. That's all.

White churches are also growing. They're just not under the 'traditional' denominations.

What really worries me is that in a predominantly white city like London, there is less than 10% in such a fast growing church like KICC. This clearly shows that our society is racist. Just because Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo is black, the majority white do not feel inspired to join his church. My question is: Is there going to be two heavens, one for black people and one for white people? If not then let us love one another and be one in Christ. Thank you.

The black church will continue increasing rapidly so long as it does not go outside God's word or allow what is unworthy in church because of fashion. God's word is the same today, yesterday and for evermore without additions or subtractions. May God increase both black and white churches as they keep his word. God bless you.

it is not a black church/white church thing. Numbers are dropping in the established church, and rising in pentecostal! Colour should not be the issue.

it's happening in white churches too, it' all about unity in the sprit of god = social cohesion.

Thank God for the life of pastor Mathew

I am thrilled to hear of the influx of Black Christians.
As an African American, church and faith have always been a pivotal part of the community. The African Amercian Church makes one's faith and beliefs personal and active. The church is where you find Christian sports teams, musical groups, youth groups, social organizations, volunteer organizations, educational assistance, charity, basically anything that someone in the community might need. The service is not a passive lecture. We dance, sing, cry, whatever the Holy Spirit leads us to do. This is what has sustained us since the days of slavery.

It is excellent that you have run this documentary. At least for a change the focus is not that churches are conning people into giving their money. It shows there is something people are getting from these churches which has been missing for years. Evidence has shown that youth with lives of crime who start attending these churches change their lives totally with no relapse.
