1XTRA NEWS: THE REAL TALK OF THE STREETS
Cheap coke on your streets?
Cocaine and razor blade on mirror
More and more young people are using cocaine – and dealers are creating cheaper versions aimed at students and people who have less cash.
The economy version – which costs about £30 a gram – is cut with additives like talcum powder while the higher quality coke, at £50 a gram, is sold to wealthier customers, charity DrugScope says.

One health worker in Manchester reckons teens as young as 15 are getting into cocaine – and have serious problems by the time they're 18.

The amount of cocaine being used across the UK hasn't changed, but more young people are combining it with other drugs like cannabis and ecstasy, or taking it while drinking alcohol.
Is it too easy to get drugs on the streets where you live? Has drug addiction affected you or people you know? Is enough being done to help addicts or is it their fault for getting hooked? Send us your thoughts.
