The first ever BBC 1Xtra Live event was at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry in 2008, 4,000 urban music fans saw the likes of Kelly Rowland, Chris Brown, Akon and Jay Sean. In 2009, BBC 1Xtra Live went to Sheffield Arena, and it was all about home grown talent. The very best of the UK's urban music stars such as Dizzie Rascal, Chipmunk and JLS took to the stage. This year it was at Wembley Arena with 11 of the biggest names on the BBC 1Xtra Playlist, one of them was Tinie Tempah. In 2010 though, his dream came true and he performed at the Wembley event.
