Despite a career dogged by controversy, Michael Jackson was an inspirational figure for millions, a pioneer of modern pop and RnB music responsible for the biggest selling album of all time, Thriller, and one of the most mesmerising performers ever to grace the global stage.

We salute the legacy of the man who seemed to defy nature with his dance moves; arguably the greatest entertainer of all time.
