Scandalous Unltd Profile

Scandalous Unltd

Where were you born?
North London

Your favourite hobby and/or present as a kid
Trying to dance like Michael Jackson lol

How you got into being a DJ/presenter
My cousin was DJing garage in '98 and I was getting into the sound so he taught me how to DJ UK garage. After that I got some belt-drive decks and formed Scandalous Unltd. We started DJing local in Watford's bars & clubs and then got onto a London pirate station, it all went from there.

Your biggest influence(s)
Tigers, the world we live in and my ex-girlfriend.

Biggest achievements
I don't like to think about what I've achieved, I plan to do that later in life but for me being able to start a brand and have it stamped by so many great people is a great personal achievement.

Key tune that you love or inspired you
Anything by Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle album produced by Dr Dre, these pieces of music were on repeat for me!

Favourite lyric
'On and on we seem to go but we don't know what we've got til its gone!'

What's your dream gig or collaboration?
Dream gig would be to play in Brazil or Japan or if theres no flights then I'll settle for a gig at the Playboy Mansion lol. A dream collab for me would be to work with Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones.

What's for breakfast and how do you start the day
Tea and croissant is normally on the menu in the True Tiger household cos I can't cook. I start the day by feeding my fish and checking emails, rock n roll I know!

Interests / hobbies outside music
Animals, clothing, trainers, relaxing and maybe a spot of golf.

Three rules you live your life by
Be true, live the dream and care about others!

If you ran the country what would you change/initiate?
I would get rid of average speed camera checks and the congestion charge

What's your weakness?
Tea - milk and two sugars

What has been your favourite year so far? And why?
I don't have a favourite year but last year was definitely memorable for us and UK music - we did our first support tour supporting Enter Shikari, really showed us how demanding touring is. Also seeing people I'd worked with like Dizzee, Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Caspa, Rusko, Skream all doing massive things in the charts and all over the globe was great.
